Biography

Constance Lindgreen writes short stories, novels, and poetry. 

She left her native United States over 30 years ago, and has lived in England, Denmark, and France. 

A confirmed expat, she is passably fluent in Danish and French, capable of dramatic statements in Italian, and can order ice cream in Russian. 

She treasures Tolstoy, Turgenev, Willa Cather, Edith Wharton, Shakespeare, Anton Chekov, Trollope, Proust, Henry James, Junichiro Tanizaki,  and Homer. And many others.

2015: "A Restaurant in Venice" - Runner-Up  International Club of Bordeaux competition

2016: "A Case in Point,"- Gascony Writers 2016 Anthology. Special Mention in the 2017 Pushcart Prize XLII. ,
